Jeremy" is a song by the American rock band Pearl Jam, with lyrics written by vocalist Eddie Vedder and music written by bassist Jeff Ament. Jeremy" was released in 1992 as the third single from Pearl Jam's debut album Ten (1991). The song was inspired by a newspaper article Vedder read about Jeremy Wade Delle, a high school student who shot himself in front of his English class on January 8, 1991. It reached the number five spot on both the Mainstream and Modern Rock Billboard charts
The 12 tracks on Am I Who I Am slip by in 45 giddy minutes, with little opportunity for tail-chasing repetition. I Heard You Breathe teases a breakbeat that rings tantalisingly out of reach, like the bell of a sunken ship that can be heard only at low tide. How Does It Feel drops a jittery jazz sample that lasts just 20 seconds, but its use is telling; like jazz musicians, PTU are improvisers, and their music crackles with the unstable energy of spontaneity. Not until a minute in does the track find its feet, kicking into propulsive techno. But PTU don’t just have any old ideas. They have great ones, packing Am I Who I Am with improbable sounds, intriguing blind alleys, and eyebrow-raising quirks.
Stream PTU - Am I Who I Am, a playlist by trip from desktop or your mobile device. Now, the duo present their singular, uncategorisable take on electronic music across a full length album. Assimilating references to techno and IDM, but placing them in far less familiar structures, PTU’s productions breathe life into precise rhythmic patterns with equal doses of energy, experimentation and humour. Their music (just about) files under techno, but their approach to composition rejects genre boundaries of any kind, opting instead for a free-form exploration of the weird and wonderful.
Перевод текста песни I Am Who I Am исполнителя (группы) Lara Fabian. I Am Who I Am (оригинал Lara Fabian). Я это я (перевод DD). Feels like you've built a wall around me. Как будто ты возвел вокруг меня стену, You've tried your best to ground me. Изо всех сил пытаешься удержать меня, Let me explain that I don't play by any other rules.
