Variations is a classical and rock fusion album. The music was composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber and performed by his younger brother, the cellist Julian Lloyd Webber. The Lloyd Webber brothers were always very close but their two different careers (a rock musical composer and a classical cellist) meant that a collaboration seemed unlikely. It was not until Julian beat his brother in a bet on a Leyton Orient football match that Andrew was forced to write his cello work.

Print and download in PDF or MIDI Ballade No. 1 in G Minor. Ballade No. 1 in G minor, Opus 23, composed in 1831 during the composer's early years in Vienna, was a reflection about his loneliness in the city far away from home, where a war was happening against the Russian Empire's oppression. Once finished, it wasn't published until his move to Paris, where he dedicated it to Baron Nathaniel von Stockhausen. Written in first inversion of the A♭ major chord, it is a Neapolitan chord that implies a majestic aura, ending in a dissonant, questioning left hand chord D, G, and E♭ that is not resolved until later on in the piece. The main section of the Ballade is built from two main themes.

Bach: Goldberg Variations in G Major. Piano Sheet Music to Download and Print or to View in Mobile Devices. Johann Sebastian Bach : Goldberg Variations. The relentlessly intricate architecture of the Goldberg Variations still engage scholars after hundreds of years, while the soothing, noble poetry and formidable technical demands of the piece continue to captivate players and listeners. A number of legendary performances of this monumental work have been recorded on piano as well as on harpsichord and organ - two of the most popular and highly regarded ones were recorded on the piano by Glenn Gould in 1955 and 1981

The Adagio in G minor for violin, strings, and organ continuo is a neo-Baroque composition popularly attributed to the 18th-century Venetian master Tomaso Albinoni, but actually composed by 20th-century musicologist and Albinoni biographer Remo Giazotto, purportedly based on the discovery of a manuscript fragment by Albinoni.

Here are a few m7 examples, namely variations on the open Em7 and Am7 forms. Expect to see these shapes used elsewhere on the fretboard as full or partial barre chords. To understand why these variations work, look at the intervals to see how they appear in multiple locations. The following songs all feature some type of maj7 chord. You know these chords by number as I, IV, and V. In the key of G, these chords are G, C, and D. You may expect them all to make similar major 7th chords, but they don’t. G and C have a major 7th, but D has a flat or minor 7th. A major triad with a minor 7th is technically called a dominant 7th, but, and this is where things get confusing, it’s simply referred to as a 7th. You always have to specify major 7th chords as maj7, but you can simply use 7 to label dominant 7ths.
